About School

Carmel School, also known as Carmel Convent School, Giridih, is a convent private school located in the Giridih district of Jharkhand, India. Established in 1954 by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa (CSST), the school is one of the renowned institutions in the region.

As a distinguished co-educational day school, we integrate scholastic excellence with a deep-seated commitment to value-based citizenship. We are dedicated to nurturing responsible, analytical, and empathetic global citizens, firmly anchored in the foundational principles of justice, equality, human dignity, and national unity.

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, and prepares students for the ICSE and ISC examinations.
